Hi, was just wondering if anyone else here is applying as a nurse in Norway??

I am leaving on sept 8 and want to get in touch with other nurses who is planning/hoping to work in Norway..

That I don't know axel. I'll meet ms.**** tomorrow to see whats in store of her offer. I guess you'll be there also tomorrow?She said a group of nurses will come over her place or rather the school for orientation. Will see whats the outcome of the orientation tomorrow, But I'm definitely sure NORSK LANGUAGE is very much NEEDED.

hi! i/ve tried to talk to mrs.*****r to still continue the classes in taguig. i've already started last feb. 7, and she wants me to continue it in laguna, because she has more students there compared here. if you & karen are sure to enroll, maybe we can try to ask her to also do the tutoring in taguig (every thurs, fri, sat for example). Mrs. ***** is the wife of s'leif of FINO.

does this mean that she's not conducting Norsk class in Taguig nowadays? I live in Cavite and i think it would be a pain to travel from here to Laguna,hence the travel fare it will cost me :( If you don't mind, how much is their enrollment fee in Norsk language course? do they require that the student pay it in full or downpayment is accepted?

I still haven't received my SAFH authorization but the SAFH advisor/consultant sent me an email to wait by april or may as it usually takes 3-4mos from the date of payment.

honestly it's already a pain going to taguig since i live in sampaloc, have you tried the asian center for foreign language posted by "r u serious" on this thread? i am yet to call them see which is cheaper, miss **** 's fee is about 50-60k if i remember correctly...plus im quite cautios because i dont have any hospital experience thus i might not even get a job or employer in norway even with fluency of the language but she assures me that i can(with the help of her husband, but i doubt there'd be some contract in paper for you to have something to hold on, just her word)...thing is, i did my research and i am yet to find an employer or job posting from norway online which doesnt require a 2 yr experience...also she didnt advise to have my autorisation before learning the language, i see that you already have yours before learning the language, did you process your own autorizarion? thanks for responses it's a big help!

im actually trying to convince her to still continue the class in taguig. i am already enrolled and she wants me to continue it in laguna, she even offers me to stay there, but i would definitely prefer to continue it here. she told me that if we would be in group she might consider to have a schedule in taguig. i still havent received may safh yet.

just like you i also don't have any hospital experience (even the student of mrs.***** who left last january). i still don't have my safh yet, i submit all the requirements a week after we started. then she instructed me to send my resume to her husband, after a few days i received a confirmation letter from a community in norway that they have received my application (1 month to process). most of her previous students were actually calling her now, since they have calls from the employers. the only problem is that they do not have the money to process their visa, airfare, etc. if we are lucky just like Danah (the one who left last january), the employer send her job offer and even lend her money for her airfare.

we will just be paying mrs. ***** for the language fee, she doesn't ask money for the processing, so we'll be the one to process our own papers and we'll be the one to hold our money. we will be paying her husbands professional fee, for helping us find a job, when we are already working in norway.

at first, im also afraid in trusting her. since i dont know her that much. if it is a scam she would ask us of money for the processing and etc. she will be the one to do it (like most agencies). but with her, she just ask for the language fee and will be the one paying and process our papers. she and her husband wants to help us in finding our job since they will earn from it also.

i've paid 25k when started last feb 7, i will attend once she start the class in laguna and of course pay my balance. i don't think she is offering the 6 months, it is 3 months but she prefer to do it in 2 months (extending hours/day). she's saying if there will be students here, she might consider it.

anyway, if you want to go to norway and will be enrolling to other language center, just complete all the requirements for job seekers visa. the processing takes 3 months. then you can go there and find a job.

you can send your application to safh. just have all your documents notarized. you'll pay the processing fee for safh after they receive your application.

I got a letter from safh and paid the required amount to be paid thru cc and waiting for another letter as i am told by my aunt.

Is it really that hard to learn their language? im having doubts to push thru with my plans of going to norway but as you know the nursing workforce in the philippines is tough. any info to share regarding norway and other stuff about their healthcare field? thanks! :nurse::):redpinkhe
