Applying to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing?

I applied to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing..took the NET and received great scores:yeah: and now, waiting to set-up interview with school.

Anywone else applying and waiting to hear back? Anyone already go through their interview? I'm interested in waiting with other applicants!

This is my top choice and I'm ready to be accepted!! :D:D

yes there are 2 sessions one in June and one in July. I am doing the one in June and that begins June 4th and end June 29th

I have a question about Mountainside. I am keen to get started on my pre reqs this fall so that after completing them (which will take 2 years), I can apply to Mountainside for their nursing courses and get their diploma. I am a little confused by their website however - it seems like on the two year program it says you could take the nursing and the pre reqs at the same time - wouldn't that be way too much? What are the hours of the nursing courses? I was assuming they were pretty much full time so I was surprised you could do the pre reqs at the same time (unless I am reading the website incorrectly). nay help would be great - I love the sound of the program and hope to be there as soon as I can!

Yeah that confused me too, when I first applied. I don't know why it's still up there like that. I was told that you had to have all your prerequisites done to begin, the most prereqs they would allow you to not have done by the time you start is only 2.

taking the nursing classes and prereqs at the same time is a heavy load. i would recommend getting as much as you can out of the way at your local community college over the summer and in the winter. 1st semester is usually 'the easiest' in content so you may be able to manage one or two classes like english. good luck.

I recently took TEAS V to see if I get accepted into Mountainside H.S.N, I am really scared because I don't know if I have any chances of getting in. I did do my interview right after the exam and Mrs.* that interviewed me said that they will send out letters within about two weeks, after the 9th which was when I took it, to let students know whether or not they are accepted. Did anyone get accepted yet, the students that took it the 9th?? please let me know. Thanks

For everyone accepted, what summer course session are you doing June or July???

I was accepted and i am taking the summer course in july. Did everyone complete all of there pre reqs? The only class im missing is organic/inorganic biochemistry.

yes, Me too the organic/biochem is the only thing I am missing, Kind of sucks since I have already taken Gen CHem I and II during my undergrad. everything else I have. I'm doing the June class. Have you gotten your uniform yet?
