Applying for LPN license....

Hi all,

I am looking to apply for my license soon. Is there any US states that has a least requirements for a foreign graduates:confused: to sit for the NCLEX-PN? and as short time frame to wait for the ATT? Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch and good luck! :typing

Where are you at the moment and if not in the US what visa are you looking at obtaining to work in the US? Many foreign nurses have taken the LPN NCLEX but they are in the US with a visa. Those that haven't a visa have found out the hard way that there is no way that they will qualify for a work visa in the US as LPN's are not classed as in short supply. Check out the Philippine forum as much has already been written about it.There are no quick states to apply to as they have to assess your application and training to decide if this equates to the US.

There is no short time for any state to get permission to sit for any exam, you are looking at minimum of three months plus for any one. But again as we have stated over and over again, unless you have a green card or US citizenship already, you are not going to be able to work in the US legally.

Does not matter what any school there has told you, the fact is that those that have been brought over on the H2-B visa as nurses, are being deported now and cannot return to the US for a minimum of ten years.

Licenses do not give permission to work in the US, immigration is needed for this.
