Are you sure you are talking about the right community college? Dtcc has the NLN not the teas? If yes it really depends on the others students' scores. 17 out of ? Is it for Stanton?
Oh ok! Maybe you can have more luck in the PA forum?

Kayfactor, each year it's different depending on what the entire cohort scores and the number of applicants.
Last year they had 132 applicants and if memory serves (from the info session) the average score was 70. It would seem you have a good chance for this year given similar #'s. I am in the same boat as you, and am hoping to be sailing onto nursing school this fall!

I've petitioned for 2013 nursing class at DCCC. I'm petitioning with a 70.7%.
If I don't get in, I will take my time finishing up my last two classes that I planned
on completing the summer of 2013. I then will take 2 months to re-study for the test
and complete it with at least an 80%. Last resort, I will go to LPN school and
after 1000 hours of work as an LPN, I can re-petition with again with my highest
TEAS score. Since we only get three attempts at the TEAS score, does anyone
know if we can continue to re-petition with our best test score?

I petitioned for 2013 as well and i scored a 74 overall and im hoping that will be good enough. And yes i believe u can re petition with your best score that's why its a good idea to use those 3 time wisely. ..but good luck everyone i heard 60s and 70s usually do earn a seat
It's December, DCCC acceptance letters should be coming in the next few weeks. I've read posts from previous DCCC chorts and some were notified before Christmas! All the best to fellow 2013 petitioners. I hope to see you in nursing classes in September 2013!
well, I received a letter today from the program ( so good news is they are sending letters out i guess) but my letter is saying i need proof of residency so now im like freaking out because im not sure if this will make me a late petitioner (that would suck) . But we will see. But good luck to everyone and keep checking the mail

What is the deadline to have full petition w/ teas scores submitted for LPN to RN for Fall 2013?
