I graduated from a nursing assistant course in 2002 so I have to study and practice some skills before taking the test. I have been studying for a week now the book that I had and I think I got it all now to the clinical skills. How was the best way you did you studied your skills?
Now I have a question, do I challenge it in the application or do I put I have done a course in nursing assistant. Online in the Florida website that cutoff date is 2006. I dont understand the website either that much when they say
All candidates who want to test in-facility must submit a paper scannable application to Prometric and should not use this online form. The facility must send in all applications for a specific test date in the same pack to ensure they are tested on the same date.
maybe its my poor english understanding at times since english is my second language but what does it mean. From my interpretation, I think it means if I want to test in a site that I cant fill this out. Then what is this application for?

If your class was 6 years ago you probably will have to take the class again. Check with the BON but usually they have a time limit between class and test. Much has changed since 2002.
^Thanks for your help. In Florida, you are allowed to challenge and dont really have to take any course. So thats why I was asking.

You will most likely check that you are challenging the exam since it has been so long since you took the class. You will probably take it at High Tech Central, off Michigan Ave, in FT. Myers since you are in the Cape. They can also answer your questions but they will refer you to the prometric site too. I believe said they test 2 times week at HTC (??Tues and Thurs??? - please call to check) but this may change during the summer. The written test is relatively simple and multiple choice and the skills portion is a little more stressful. Make sure you practice ALL the steps on the checklist from the site.
