I just wanted to get opinion regarding my situation..
Little background story..
I was in a 4yr BSN program and on my junior year I failed patho which was a 2 credit class by 0.02%... I was taken out of the program and my adviser told me to switch my major since I wouldn't be eligible to continue... I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2013 and have been contemplating going back in Nursing School...
Did anyone have a similar experience and how did you apply to the ABSN Program?? Would they take someone that already took nursing classes prior??
Should I just take 2 yr associate degree??
Thank you so much in advance :)

We're you taking actual nursing classes with clinical components?
Yes I was.
I already finished my geri, pysch, med surg1 & ob classsa and clinicals. It was only the 2 credit patho that booted me out the program I was in....

I see. That does typically make things more difficult. A lot of programs will not accept a student who has been dismissed from another program.
ADN programs typically have the same standards are are fiercely competitive in their own right, so that might not be a realistic option, either.
You're really just going to have to check with some programs in your area and see what they have to say. Hopefully you'll find an exception.
I have heard of people completing LVN programs (after ADN or BSN dismissal) and then bridging to RN, on occasion. So, maybe...?
