2023 Applications to UBC and UVic NP program

Hi all,

I've applied to both programs to start in September 2023, and wanting to commiserate with anyone else who is anxiously waiting to hear. Looking back at previous years I'm feeling a bit discouraged since the admissions average seemed to be higher than I had been told by colleagues. Anyhow, let me know if you also applied and when you hear back from schools! Wishing you all the best of luck.

Sorry I just got too excited and forgot to mention that I applied to the post-master stream, which might be why the result came in a bit earlier? And mine says "recommended by department"

Thank you Kate! From previous posts it looks like UVic will be sending out offers even in April, so fingers crossed for you!

Also- My application portal also says "recommended by department". I am sooo excited ?

Hope others have good news soon too. Maybe we will be classmates!

Mine was also updated to say recommended by department, which seems to be pre-provisional acceptance! Yabadabadoo! Hopefully that's what it means, otherwise it's pretty mean!
