application response

How soon after applying for a job should i expect to hear from the agency? I constantly apply to hospital positions online which is all computerized, how soon would they call back if they are interested in me to come in for a interview?

Oh gosh. This is like asking how long does it take for ice to melt. There are just too many variables to provide any type of answer. It depends on the complexity of the process, the available resources, and overall 'urgency' of the major players. In some organizations it may be a very streamlined process while others have so many steps and handoffs, that it will take forever.

Online systems are only as good as the people who manage them. HR is not exactly a hotbed of tech smarts. Just sayin'.....
