hi everyone,
I am currently reapplying for the 3rd time for NCLEX RN examination in California state. I received this day, my suppose to be eligibility to take the exam but there is some given item that I should provide the Board of Nursing in order to approved my application. The item that was ask for me is the CLINICAL ROTATION RECORD where you can find all the clinical procedures(actual/assisted deliveries, cord dressings, and major/minor procedures) with all of the clinical instructors signature on it.
I was frustrated and felt bad about this because I am a foreign nursing graduate living here now in california and have been graduated for almost 5 years from now. All my clinical rotation record is no way to be found, and i don't think, so, if my school can provide me with the said record. I am planning to have my exam this coming January 2012, and i really don't know what to do if the BON don't approve my application..,...i think I'm goin crazy if it'll happen:uhoh3:,.. .PLEASE HELP guys!any suggestion or advice will be very appreciated....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TYM READING THIS...GODBLESS, AND MOREPOWER TO ALL NURSES!
I am also a first time applicant and they required me submit all my clinical rotations and cases doneI believe the BRN will not require you the clinical rotation unless you are a retaker/repeater. If this is your first time applying, the BRN will just require you the SSN and the original requirements posted in their website.
hi guys i already receive the mail from the boards,it was very not a good news,..it said to the letter that my documents doesn't meet all the requirements in med-surg nursing and obstetrics and my clinical cases were all incomplete,..i don't understand why,but as far as my brain rmmbers i gave them completely what they asked for and this would be my 3rd retake already ,.they said also in the letter that I'm required to complete additional course work, meaning am goin back to school for a certain course, i don't think it'll work though, i don't have enough money to support it....do u have any idea guys f i can still retrieve all my documents from them and apply another board exam from other state?..i just don't know what to do for that, and i juz don't want to think that'll be the reason to stop me being a nurse...:'(
