Application process problem,help!

CA do appear to be getting more strict with their requirements

hi everyone,

I am currently reapplying for the 3rd time for NCLEX RN examination in California state. I received this day, my suppose to be eligibility to take the exam but there is some given item that I should provide the Board of Nursing in order to approved my application. The item that was ask for me is the CLINICAL ROTATION RECORD where you can find all the clinical procedures(actual/assisted deliveries,cord dressings, and major/minor procedures) with all of the clinical instructors signature on it.

I was frustrated and felt bad about this because I am a foreign nursing graduate living here now in california and have been graduated for almost 5 years from now. All my clinical rotation record is no way to be found, and i don't think, so, if my school can provide me with the said record. I am planning to have my exam this coming January 2012, and i really don't know what to do if the BON don't approve my application..,...i think I'm goin crazy if it'll happen:uhoh3:,.. .PLEASE HELP guys!any suggestion or advice will be very appreciated....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TYM READING THIS...GODBLESS, AND MOREPOWER TO ALL NURSES!

Are you saying your are attempting the exam for the third time? If that is the case, the CA Board of Nursing is re reviewing your application to see if your education met CA standards.

What you can do is take the courses in the USA to meet the standards, that CA residents have to complete. All clinical needs to be completed concurrently with theory.

hi there,..i failed my exam twice, and now I'm reapplying for my 3rd take,.the lady told me that i may have been previously approved for the nclex examination,still my application will be re-evaluated,..so,for now,i was hoping then, that my school where i came from could find the papers that I'm looking for..that would be my last resort though,..thank u for your time reading this..have a good day ahead,and More power!

hello,..how have u been?..do you have the dates already for your exam?..btw,I'm from visayas region,.and i guess you're from luzon right?juz a guess though,..anyways,ill be taking hopefully my exam this february,but as i said earlier i was having a problem with my papers,.i couldn't find my clinical rotation record,..i have been contacting my school for several times already,and the new dean told me that i should send them the letter from the board of nursing, so i did,but till now i haven't heard from them if they already found it or mailed it already,..been calling them yesterday,but the dean wasn't there..eventually,i know that i can have my boards next year and am still holding on to that...

im good..:):DI dont have the date yet..coz I still need to submitt my reapplication form..hoping no prob.will arise regarding the additional reqs.needed:D..and yes Im from Luzon,nice guess..:)and you from cebu?..dont worry much for sure your school will provide you all the qddtl.reqs.needed by the CA BON..
