Im from Philippines and i just migrated here in Texas and im gonna have my SSN# in one more month but since the BON here in Texas ask a lot of requirements i planned to take my NCLEX in CALIFORNIA BON.
MY question is ....what is the first step to apply for NCLEX .Do i have to register to NCSBN first then wait how many months to apply for the BON in California.
Please tell me step by step...hoping for every ones reply.
Please go back to the application that you need for the CES, there is no place that states that the CGFNS exam is required.
We are telling you what you need to do, please look closely at the applications. There are only about five states out of the US that still require the CGFNS exam, and Texas is not one of them.
It states if you have it, then you include it, if you do not have it, then you do not. Same thing with the English exams. No place does it state that it is required, nurses from the UK are exempt from that requirement and they get the CES done all of the time. You are making a big deal out of nothing.
If you want to work in Texas where you are, then you need a Texas license. I also responded to your pm. There is nothing more for me to add to this discussion.
