I have a few questions for the people who already went through the application process. I'm graduating in three weeks and I'm filling out the application for my nursing license. First, let me say that our school has done a terrible job about explaining the whole process to us. Anyway, I'm filling out the part where they are asking for "Postsecondary schools" I'm in a 2 year diploma program. They want you to write the "Title of diploma or degree obtained" but I haven't graduated yet. What should I write in that blank space?
Also, I'm a bit confused about the background check. Should I send the application for license with the application for the background check should I send them separately. I know there is a fee for $25.30. Should I pay that later when I get a notification in the mail for finger printing?
Also, I was born in another in another country outside of the United States, the part of the application where they ask for place of birth, should I write the city the country where I was born?
Thank You

You can try contacting the NJ BON via email with your questions. If you printed out your appliation on line, refer to the second page of the packet, there are 2 persons listed which you can chose from to address your question via email and the BON phone # is also listed. Congratulations on your achievement thus far.
