Applicants to OCNE 2016-2018

Hello everybody! Long time lurker and first time poster on this site. I was hoping to start a thread to see where everybody is at on their points and etc. Some info about myself I suppose: Applied at PCC, MHCC and CCC, I have experience as a CNA and completed all my pre-req's with 3.9 GPA. Feeling pretty good but not when its compared to 800 other applicants! Thought this would be a good way to see if emails were being sent in the next few weeks and waitlist info. Does anyone know how big CCC expects the class to be this time around? I know PCC is usually 80 people accepted and last year CCC cut their cohort in half, so I'm wondering what the size is this year.

I have both my PCC essay and CCC interview this Thursday the 14th and am nervous as heck!

I assumed the same as last year. Everyone that I've talked to seems be thinking the same thing. Maybe we will find out Thursday!

For those of you that were invited to the PCC essay, what do you plan on wearing? I'm definitely not wearing the same thing I wore to the OHSU interview but I'm thinking nice jeans with a nice shirt or sweater would work. Anyone here attend last year?

I'm wearing some black pants and a cardigan. I didn't attend last year but I definitely don't see the point in getting super dressed up when it's just an essay.

I'm thinking along the lines of what I normally wear... Jeans, flats, sweater and tank top etc. I have PE class after so no make up for me lol

I had my interview at clackamas this morning. For those wondering, their cohort size will be 30 this year.

It was good! Very similar to the OHSU interview (: There were only three of us this morning, so it went by quick! You do the essay first, so that was nice to get out of the way.

Bet you rocked the PCC essay!!

I think I was one of those three with you lol if it was the first group... I have the pcc essay tomorrow. I feel like the CCC interview prepped me with some ideas for pcc. I probably only got half a page done in the time, hope that was good enough! It'll be like 2-3 questions in 50 minutes tomorrow :eek:
