:angryfire Seriously it seems like no one is hiring, grrrr!
im a new LVN Grad, should i just start working for a nursing home?????
or will that only affect me and then for sure no hospital will hire me
PLEASE I NEED ADVICE
Thanks
There are lots of LPN's where I work, but if you are having a hard time finding acute care maybe consider looking at rehab or a doctor's office if you really don't want to work in a nursing home. But I think any experience would help you out in the long run! I think you might see more stuff at a rehab hospital than a nursing home though. But even at the nursing home you would get practice with passing meds, time management, etc.
there are jobs in the hospital but you must understand the tricks to getting a job in one. First when you are in school you must enter the hospital even if it is pool as a patient care technician or a certified nursing assistant. Remeber they must hire in house. Once you become a licensed nurse even if their aren't any position they will create one for you. But an alternative plan is to work at a nursing home as pool. This is to ensure you have a job you worked with history with flexibility and great pay. In the mean time you continue to look for a permanent position. hope this info helps.
