...software? I'm confused. All you need to do is learn the formatting, for which the best website on the web is the Purdue University OWL, Purdue OWL
There are some APA applications out there; I got one but honestly didn't find it particularly useful. I second TheSquire's excellent advice about the Purdue OWL site. I have the site bookmarked and I often have it open in a separate browser window when I am working on a paper for very easy reference.
An alternative a classmate alerted me to: Word 2007 comes with a tab on its ribbon called References which will format citations and construct the bibliography at the end, allowing you to choose APA, MLA, Chicago, etc. And I love the Purdue OWL site, too.Dina
I've tried Word 2007's APA and it's often wrong.
I use RefWorks; I've gone through two years of my nursing program so far and have never been dinged for APA formatting. RefWorks hasn't let me down yet

I know that one of you previously posted sites for free APA software. Well, I am back in school now and if any of you know of a site or have actually used it please answer me. Help!
