I keep this website open at all times when I'm working on a paper. It has been much more helpful to me than any of the books or the APA software. I've got some of the downloads and found them not to be terribly helpful although others swear by them.

Good luck with your program!
I've been using Dr. Paper since 2006 and three versions of Word (2003, 2007, 2010). It costs $30...it's fantastic formatting software and IMO worth every penny. The only time I have a glitch is with the cover page: for some reason if I fill out all the info on the cover page form, I get dinged by my instructors for an incorrect cover page.
I also use PERRLA and the $30 includes free upgrades for life. Every single time "they" revise the APA guidelines, PERRLA will give you a free update as soon as they have it ready. I used it for my RN program, and will be using it for my MSN too--I've already had one upgrade. For me the best part of the software is the citations. You can follow the directions and save everything into a Reference Database. The next time you use that source, you don't have to re-type it. Best money I ever spent!!

I will be starting my MSN degree program in a few short weeks. I am looking for any feedback on APA formatting help. Looking for feedback from those whom have bought any APA-formatting software; -Which do you recommend -Why or Why Not? And any suggestions on APA formatting downloads..What issues or successes have you had there. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!
