I'm trying to get some travel gigs, but there's not a lot in the area I'm looking at. I'm being turned down because I haven't worked with Epic before. (Cerner screwing me outside work too!) Is there some online course that could certify me? Some digging on Google makes it seem like a no.

I doubt it. Epic allows the organization to do a lot of customization. So even if such a course existed, it may not teach you what you’d need to know for a specific facility.

They just want prior experience. What's frustrating is that I know I'd pick it up fast from watching Youtube videos of it, but how can they know that...

Prior experience in EPIC only? I doubt that. They might mean in a given specialty. I have secured many jobs where the charting system was foreign to me.
I thought it was odd! They literally rejected me for no EPIC experience. I well, took a different contract that uses EPIC so it won't be an issue going forward

I am with you. I am looking for Epic Training. I have in Compass and Meditech, but thats it. I've had two contracts that I really wanted who went to people with Epic Experience.

I just got started in travel nursing and I have used an oncology specific program for years. I am being turned down for jobs due to lack of Epic experience. I have 20 years of oncology experience and it’s very frustrating to be turned down due to the use of EPIC. I have been looking for online training as well but unable to find any except for a few on you tube. Any ideas anyone?? Thank you ?

Epic is not a standardized EMR where it will function the same regardless of what organization you are at.
It's a framework that an organization uses to build an EMR. I've worked at different organization that all use Epic but where their EMR's don't really translate in any meaningful way between organizations. Even basic functions like how you "wrench" features can vary widely by organization.
The only way to be meaningfully trained on a particular organization's version of Epic is to go through that organization's training to their unique Epic build.
