3 12 is full time at my hospital, but some of the floors vary between 8's and 12's, plus you can pick up shifts and when you pick up you can pick up 4 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours. The 12's make for a nice schedule too
Currently I work
Mon, Thurs, Friday then off untill the following Thurs, Fri, Sat, off Sun, work Mon....

I work 2 12hr shifts and 1 8hr shift. I also get paid for 40hrs and make the same as CNA's who work M-F. I work on Sat, Sun 7a-7p and Tuesdays 3-11pm. I think I have the best schedule for school. Thats the only reason why I dont want to leave my job. I also get a 1 wk paid vacation every 6 months and health and dental insurance.

In my LTC facility I work 3 - 12's and it is considered full time, anything 36 hours or more in most places is full time
