wondering how you like it? What do you like/dislike about it. thanks

Podiatrists do not normally require the experience and training of an RN in their office.

Its funny how things seem to work, I usually surf this website often, I am having a Bunionectomy done this friday, and I am having a Podiatrist do it, I have heard of people having an ortho surgeon doing it also, I have had twins even and had to have no c-section,and I am scaried to be quite honest, and it does not help out that i am a nurse also. But the nurse that works for my Podiatrist is an RN, and we have become friends, and she has told me that she loves working for a Podiatrist. Have any of you know any one that has had a bunionectomy done before, and if so how do it go?

Thanks,

Stacy

The two podiatrists I've experienced have all had RN's in the practice. Maybe its a location thing...

I've worked with nurses who said the bunion thing was the best thing they'd ever had done. My Dad had his hammertoes straightened (if thats the right term) as a day surgery in his podiatrists office and yes, there was an RN there as well.
