Hi everyone. Was just wondering who else in here will be interviewed on Nov 12? Especially from orange county area? How didyou guys prepare for the interview? I just passed my boards and have ACLS card will be working for my bls card on thursday. ANyone? Thanks in advance:nurse:
Hi everyone! I interviewed on Nov 7th and got the offer during the interview. I haven't heard back from anyone since then and haven't received anything in the mail yet. For any that got a phone call, did the hiring manager go into further detail as to what the next step is? Do we get an official offer in paper? I'm apartment hunting but some places want an official letter to verify for the credit check. Congrats to everyone and hang in there for those waiting for calls!
Not sure about an offer on paper -- my new manager gave me a number to call to set up a physical/immunizations, as well as the number for nursing resources, who will handle the official hire and paperwork. You might want to call the manager of your unit and see what s/he wants you to be doing, since it seems like the next few steps are mainly up to us to arrange. (Oh, and congrats to you too! :nuke:)

ORgirl, are you the one live in Fremont that I talked to when we were the last two person waiting to have our live scan done?
I wish I could start that early. Mine is not until Feb 10.Have you got anything in the mail yet? BTW, we're live close to each other...30 mins drive...i'm in san jose.
I didnt get anything in the mail yet but I did hear from a rep from my department. I know my department works differently from floor nursing so I'm not sure if I'll be getting anything in the mail. If you can't get a hold of your hiring manager, you can always contact Sheri again. She's helped me a lot when my emails and voicemails were not being responded by my manager.
I got a call from SICU/Liver transplant last week but I have to turn down the offer, because Im in the hiring process now at LAC+USC for MICU. If the call from SICU could've been earlier I would've chosen UCLA. But anyways, good luck and congrats to you guys who got in the program, in LAC+USC they don't have a new grad program for a year, the Nurse Manager told me , that I will just have 2 to 4 weeks preceptor then that's it. Again Congrats to everyone:up:
