Hi,
I was hoping to get some feedback on anyone whose done the NCSBN, or is doing this NCLEX RN review through their learning extension online course. If you don't mind sharing, I'd like to know what your average low percentage scores are in some of the areas and overall average mid percents (whichever)? I hear that students really are just doing the practice bank questions, and reading rationales- right or wrong.
My NCLEX is coming up in10 days and I have been doing NCSBN's Learning extension and doing their questions and starting to do questions on a KAPLAN CD rom I got along with their book I bought. I am also doing the Saunder's nclex test bank questions on my mobile phone app too. My second question is, do you think this is a good study plan? I am also reviewing/refreshing up on material I know but need to look at again.
I'm really nervous about this... And I am happy to see how successful most of you are and want this so bad. I hope to work hard, and hope to get your feedback on my questions! Thanks and hope you have a happy 4th!
Other than using the NCSBN questions everyday I also used the Lacharity book and also used ATI which was provided by my school. I did not study content, questions only! I studied questions every day for a month, around 100 questions each day. I honestly think it was too much. I think answering questions is the best way to study!
I did 6000 questions, haha, but YES, the more questions you see the better you will be at being able to eliminate choices. Set goals for yourself to do a certain amount a day!
YOU GOT THIS. Sending you good MOJO for the big day:)

I used the 3 week course, along with nclex mastery app and passed nclex with 75 questions. The thing I found most helpful about ncsbn's site was all the questions. On those I was averaging 75%. But on some of them I would get 40%. Try and look at the overall averages you're getting, I bet it's higher than you think. Also something that I think really helped me learn was the ones I got wrong. I'd write them down in a notebook, and write the correct answer and made sure I understood where I made my mistake. Also when i took the nclex, i treated each question like it was the only question I had to answer. I didn't overanalyze whether or not I got it right or wrong, which I think also helped!! Good luck to you!

Agreed, LaCharity was way harder as was Kaplan but both I thought were helpful! :)
