I had anatomy 9 years ago in college. I have to retake it since they do not count science classes after 8 years. I'm trying to test out of it through the NLN anatomy test. I have my old textbook that i've been reviewing. Any advise? Did it focus more on anatomy or physiology? If you tested out were there a lot of questions? They lady that I signed up with didnt know any info at all.

I haven't taken the test, but I say go for it! Worst case scenario: you have to take the class after all. Will you find out your score in time to register for the class if necessary? I met my Bio 101 requirement with an AP test I took in 1997, and when I took micro in 2004 it all started to come back. If it's straight anatomy, not A&P, then it's all memorization anyhow. Good luck!
I did take this and passed! :) I am actually a RN now. I have to say it wasn't what I expected. Don't waste time memorizing bones or muscles. There were only a few questions I would say were "anatomy". Study Physiology more. THink what they would want you to know as a nurse. I think there was a lot of microbiology on it actually.

My instructor recommended the book A&P made incredibly easy. I have to do a self-study and take a test because it has been more than 3 years since I took A&P. You can order online at amazon or barnes & noble.
