Hello all....new here and would like to ask anyone who took the NCLEX-RN for the State of New Hampshire that tried the so called "Pearson Vue Trick"? If you have, can you please share with me your experience with it. Does it work? Has anyone gotten the "pop" up and they had to retake the exam? I took the exam yesterday and have been going nuts since NH BON does not participate in the quick results. Thanks...

here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the nclex exam on the pearson vue web site:

very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. this means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. if you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. if you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
i tried the pvt about an hour after taking the exam. "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time. two days later my results went up on a saturday an i had passed!
I passedddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only did the pvt trick once but got the good pop didnt want to do it again coz i kinda felt that i might jinx it.. Couldnt sleep for 2 days.. Thought i failed. But after 2 days i saw my name in the bon ca. Thank god i finally passed!!
I took the LVN/LPN test in California on January 7, 2011 and unfortunately California doesn't participate in the "Quick Results" service. I did the "trick" everyone has been talking about and was given the following message when I tried to schedule another test with Pearson Vue:
I received my letter from the California Board of Vocational Nursing two (2) weeks later stating I passed the test. I realize the question was initially from New Hampshire but I thought this would help since the NCLEX RN or PN is a national test administered by Pearson Vue exclusively. It makes sense that the computer wouldn't allow you to schedule another test if you've already passed. So far, four (4) people from my class have taken the NCLEX-PN and have received the above message AND the letter from the Board stating they have passed.
I stopped at 90-95 i don't even remember but i tried the trick. I think it would be easier to believe the trick if someone thAt failed actually states that they did not get the good pop up message and saw the pay with credit card/ registration instead. When is the best time to check thr trick though??
Justwannapass,
I've read other online posts about this "trick", and some people did confess they did not receive the above message and subsequently found out they didn't pass the test when they got notification in the mail. As of April 1, 2011 six more of my fellow students (now a total of 10) have taken the test and passed. I can understand being skeptical about this method, but so far 10 of 10 is not a bad number. I've read people advising to wait at least 48 hours to carry out the "trick" method, but this is a multiple choice test and there is only one (1) right answer so the results are instant. What takes time is the background check with the state. Best of luck to you and I hope you did well!!!

Congrats on passing NCLEX! It's a fantastic feeling isnt' it?! All I did was go to the Board of Nursing website the next morning and did a license search for myself. It showed an active license.
