So I live in KS (in California right now) and I go Barton Community college, I want to go to nursing school in California because my family is here. When I move, I will have an associate's degree in nutrition and health. The classes I have to take for that degree are required for the nursing programs in Ca (micro, A&p, english etc), I wanted know if anyone has transferred courses from KS to one of the los rios community colleges successfully. Thank you for any answers!

This is probably something you'll need to specifically speak to the los rios colleges about. They might double check your courses, request transcripts and all that. So you are planning to get into the nursing program there? Just wanna warn you, it's very very competitive here. I live in the area and suggest you email or call Folsom Lake college about course transferring. They have higher quality staff imo. If you are accepted into one, you're accepted into all since they are sister colleges and require pretty much the same thing.
yeah, I don't want to stay in Kansas any longer lol. I wouldn't mind taking the prereqs over if I needed to, I was just hoping they'd be able to take them. I guess I could email them and ask.

Are you already an RN? or a pre nursing/nursing student?
Pre nursing, I'm still taking my prereqs for nursing. I'm sorry if the first post was a little confusing lol
oh and I just thought the name was cute lol I'm not a nurse yet, I wish!
