My big day is going to be on August 19:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat.... I was planning to take it on August 21 but I cannot find a 1pm schedule.
I've been reading Saunders(5th edition) since last week of May but up until now I can't seem to finish it. It's a lot of content to cover but I know I need to refresh everything because i'm a foreign graduate (6 years ago):o:o. I also have La Charity (my best friend swears this is the closest that you can get to NCLEX exam) and NCLEX3500. I finished the Kaplan Strategies book but I still want to try their Qbank(a lot of test takers said they have harder questions compared to NCLEX). Oh and lastly, I'm going to take the Hurst Online review. I've been researching in this site about Hurst and I decided to try it out. I'm not sure if it's a lot of resource , but I just want to pass this exam.
I decided not to tell my family or friends for my upcoming battle but I realized I need a lot of support and PRAYERS...
ohhhh laaaa, laaaa

Good luck to all of you..i am so jealous :) i am a foreign nursing graduate and im still in a limbo on how to gether my requirements since i married here i the US (Florida) and just recenty want to pursue nursing. it will be a long haul for me..getting the requirements and all.. by the way, can u guys please tell me what exact website should i go to see what requirements i need to submit just so i can begin communicating back home in pinas & prepare whatever forms / paper works. Good luck to NCLEX takers.. prayers are with you!

Hello!! I will be sitting for my exam in August as well. This will be my 3rd (and praying my LAST) time meeting head to head with this exam. I think I have WAY too many cds/books/practice questions at my disposal, so I'm narrowing now what resources use the most to get me where I need to be.

This is my first time writing it. I'm a practicing Rn in Canada and our exam is completely different from NCLEX.

Could be that I am one of the last to join the thread for August, but I feel that I am the first one taking it.. :) I am scheduled Aug 3rd.. Hehe...
2 weeks to go to prepare, I've been using Saunders 4th Edition CD, just been answering question after question, and of course reading and understanding the rationale... I covered most contents but still finishing up.. I think I've answered about 2,400+ questions already, but it feels like not enough.. I know you'll never feel like its enough, but still.. hehe..
I'm also happy to find that marami tayong magka-kababayan dito, lalo na ngayong August.. haha... But I reside here in the East coast..
@pitxurri19 - Belated happy birthday to your Dad! I've taken a week long break too, last week in fact.. I was just burned out by all the questions, and it seemed like I couldn't answer and understand before I took the 1 week break... But I receive my ATT yesterday and I scheduled the NCLEX-RN now, and it makes me more motivated than ever!
We can all do this fellow August-takers.. Claim the NCLEX-RN in our Lord Jesus Christ's name! We are doing this for a purpose and God gave us that purpose, let us together fulfill it..
Lamentations 3:22-23 "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
I'll be praying for us! Its the most powerful thing to do in preparation for the NCLEX..

Thank you Faithful Pau!!! I know, that's what happened to me. I decided to take a break because everytime i try to answer questions it's like i don't understand anything. But for the past few days, my scores got better..

I thought that it would give me thousand practice questions but it only has 180 and Im done with it too. I finished Saunders when I was studying for Cgfns, but since I left it in the Philippines and I dont want to buy a new one, I guess I need to settle with Kaplan strategies and La Charity practice questions. However, I am planning of buying Nclex 10,000...hmmmmm
