My big day is going to be on August 19:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat.... I was planning to take it on August 21 but I cannot find a 1pm schedule.
I've been reading Saunders(5th edition) since last week of May but up until now I can't seem to finish it. It's a lot of content to cover but I know I need to refresh everything because i'm a foreign graduate (6 years ago):o:o. I also have La Charity (my best friend swears this is the closest that you can get to NCLEX exam) and NCLEX3500. I finished the Kaplan Strategies book but I still want to try their Qbank(a lot of test takers said they have harder questions compared to NCLEX). Oh and lastly, I'm going to take the Hurst Online review. I've been researching in this site about Hurst and I decided to try it out. I'm not sure if it's a lot of resource , but I just want to pass this exam.
I decided not to tell my family or friends for my upcoming battle but I realized I need a lot of support and PRAYERS...
ohhhh laaaa, laaaa

Hello everybody, I took my NCLEX today at 1pm. after 3 1/2 hours, the computer finally shut off.
I was expecting to stay until 265 questions and use all the time that I have. but to my surprise,it shut off at 112-ish ?'s. I really don't know what's the exact number because i was not paying attention to it. I want to cry, i want to scream, because i feel like i know the question but i just did an educated guess al through out...
I don't know what to do right now, my only hope is the the "good pop up".
do the PVT if you're brave to do it! Hope you get the good pop up!!!
hahah yeah I've been doing it every hour and nothing has changed, I guess that's our fate. We are RN's!
panpan!!! oh..... i can' wait to see the results! so that i can shout out and celebrate!!! all the hard work paid off...
hopefully tomorrow, i can see my name on FL BON if not, i'll just do the pvt q 30 min and wait for the quick results on pearson vue on sunday. Good luck to us... and if this pvt is 100% accurate, congratuations to you too!!!:yeah:TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!

I know how u feel, I would like to see the quick result too just to make extra sure, but if you got the good pop up you should be good, so don't worry! Lemme know how it goes on sunday anyways, and i'll do the same lol ... just to keep our selves sane i suppose. ...and good luck to all the aug and sept test taker as well, work hard and don't forget to pray!

i used lacharity and kaplan's qbank database, i completed about total of 2500 question (approx.) before i took the test. really gotta practice those nclex-styled q's. good luck on ur nclex~!!
Hi I took ny Nclex-RN on monday, august 15th at 8am in norwalk, CT. It rained nonstop for 3 days. I studied the day before...using saunders and doing basic and mental health stuff. I could not sleep the night before the exam. I set 2 alarm clocks for 5am. I brought my breakfast and study materials with me, just in case. I got there 30-40 minutes early and had most of my breakfast. I did not study because I did not want to miss check in...I was up to 70 something question and the computer asked if i wanted a break. I read on this site that i should take a break and i did. Now 90 questions and i am scared...It shut off at 92-95 questions. I read each question over and over...I got alot of isolation, sata and drugs...I waited til friday aug 19th to pay at pearson vue to find out. Little did i know that 2 days later they sent me 2 letters in the mail telling me that i passed. I got alot of info regarding the test prep etc on this site that helped me alot..now i am doing the job hunt thing...good luck to everyone who is about to take the test. Remember, you know the stuff. It is just like any other one of the many tests that you have taken during your nursing school years..Take it one question at a time and answer what it is asking, do not be afraid....I thought i failed, i was and is still shocked at the results..
