Yes, class start May 12th(summer session 1)...like you feeling a bit nervous. Class meets twice a week for 10 weeks. I beleive it ends somwhere around July 7th. Since my class starts a little earlier, i'll be happy to post the topics we are learn/study to give you a start on studying. Summer session 2 starts June 23 so there would be like a two week overlap...i would love to get both of these classes out of the way before September.:typing
I see that some of you have children and others are taking additional classes, so I guess we are all in the same boat. I am married with two children, ages 5 and 19 mos. and also will be taking an algebra class.:uhoh21: My school does not offer A&P minimester classes so I will be taking it from 5/28 to 8/08. Yeah, I know! All Summer! I think the only advantage to taking it in the summer is that it will be shorter and I can focus on my studies more since my son will be out of school. Since he starts 5-K (full days) in Aug. so I plan to take AP II then.
I am trying really had to juggle this crazy life! Doing the best I can!
I did purchase the powerpoint presentation from the bookstore that the lecture professor teaches from and have began reviewing it. I have also ordered some flash cards to hopefully help with learning all of the bones (especially the ones in the head).
I will be taking A&P I this summer as well. I am definitely nervous about it but hey I really feel like I CAN DO IT! My class goes from May 30 to August 6...roughly 10 weeks. We should definitely have a sticky so we can share ideas/tips, and ask questions to help each other out.
Good luck everyone!

I am thinking about taking it for summer session 11. I have started reading my A&P book. I would love to have the sticky. Keep us all posted those of you starting early. We can all use the help of each other. :heartbeat
I am taking A&P 1 and 2 this summer and I also have 2 kids at home.I found away to get my prerequisites out of the way at once(or a majority anyway) before I start my clinicals.... then I found out I have to take my ACT over because I didn't get it writing that it didn't matter how old they were.....luckily though there is one this weekend I just managed to slide into...while waiting to sign-up for my ACT I found out there is a program my school offers that will help me with daycare and my books.
..what a relief I thought i was gonna be broke forever. Now I can take the kids to BK and let them play in the play place so I can study:typing
anyway I am looking forward to it

I am taking AP I in the summer and am a little worried b/c it is crammed into such a short semester. I will have lecture and lab twice a week. Just a little worried about having my lab report from Monday afternoon finished and turning it in on Wednesday.
Anyone else the same?
If so, are you doing anything to prepare?
