I've seen on here where several members had signed up for the A/P course through Edukan or planned to sign up -- has anyone actually completed the class and if so, how did it go? I'm signed up to start in the summer session and would like to find out what I'm in for if I can. Thanks!

I took A&P 1 last summer with Edukan. Are you taking the accelerated version (lasts 6 weeks)? If so, get out now:uhoh3: Otherwise, you should be fine. The course set up is great and the tuition isn't bad when compared with other online science courses. However, I was overwhelmed with the fact that I had to do 15 units worth of work in 6 weeks. I would spend 3 hours a day or more on it after my kids went to sleep. That was really hard since it was summer.
Good luck to you and enjoy your course:)

So are you going to take A&P 2 there as well?? I was told by the school I plan to transfer to that you have to take both from the same place. Do you think you got as much out of it as you needed to properly prepare you?
I've already taken a general A&P class that won't transfer anywhere and did all the dissections and labs in there so I feel like I won't be missing much in that area.

Thanks for the info! Although I was tempted to do the accelerated course, I decided not to torture myself that way and will take the one lasting 16 weeks (may 15-aug 4). It covers all the same material as A/P I and A/P II so I'm sure it's going to be tough, ugh! Did you take any other science classes through them?
Thanks again!
Just be sure your school will take that. I have to have a total of 8 hours, either A&P 1 & 2 or anatomy then physiology separate. Schools here will not accept the combined one semester class - I already have that and it's useless, but some schools may accept it.

Yes, I took A&P II there last fall. My school requires the sequence to be at the same school as well. The fall semester was MUCH easier than the summer accelerated one. I think I learned more from the second class than I did from the first. Not that the course and instructor weren't good, I just had more time to "digest" the material by taking it a whole semester.
Good luck.
Schools around here only offer it as two combined courses. So I was fine with taking A&P 1 and 2. However, it's always a good idea to check into transfer requirements with your school before taking any class.
