Tomorrow I start my first day in NS. My classes start at 8am and it's skills Lab until 12pm. I have so many books with no Syllabus yet. I just took the initiative of reading the first three chapters in Fundamentals and completed the study guide for those sections, along with writing notes and making flash cards. I also have been working on Dosage calculations, I hope this gives me a little advantage.
I have my uniform ironed and ready to go . I'm not sure what books to bring on the first day so I bought this crate countainer from Walmart really cute(pink of course) to go in the trunk of my car to store my books in. My plans are to leave my books in there and maybe take two or three with me in the class room. I figure I can go back to my car if I need a different one.
I know I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight :thnkg:
Is there anyone else nervous about there first day?

Yep, same here. I'm going to cram a bunch of stuff I'll no doubt not need at all into my car, but I don't want to be the guy who doesn't have it!

I'm so thankful my Skills teacher e-mailed us last week and told us all the books she wants us to bring. Plus we dont' have to worry about uniforms for another two months.

My first day of NS, an LPN-to-RN bridge program, is tomorrow. Although my classes are in the afternoon, I will have to awaken bright and early since I live a whopping 3 hours from the school.
You are so lucky, I called the school two times to confirm that I'm to wear them tomorrow, and each time I was told to do so. We will not be at the hospital for another three weeks. Our uniforms are all white with red polo shirts :chuckle
Wow, three hours:eek:.
Congrads, on starting you program tomorrow,

I start today as well. I'm in an evening-weekend program so I technically start tonight. No uniforms needed yet, but I got them washed and pressed this weekend so that they are ready to go!! I hardly slept last night, I'm sure that the day today at work is going to drag because I want to get out of here and get to school!!
Best of luck to everyone starting today!!!

I have orientation tomorrow, and then I start next Tuesday. Yay! I need to find out if I'm supposed to wear my scrubs tomorrow or just once classes actually start.
