Hi! I am in the July class and live in Parker. It sounds like there is quite a few people in the Fall class because of all the threads!
Are you in the traditional BSN class? Where in Parker do you live? I am in Parker too! Are you going to take the light rail?
I think I am in the traditional BSN class, I have completed all my pre-req's and will graduate in March 2010. I live just east of Parker, off of Hilltop. I am planning on taking light rail, it will be too expensive to drive down and pay for parking! You?
Oh wow, you are not too far from me! I am in Canterberry which is just East off of Mainstreet. Yes I will be taking the light rail as well...the gas to get downtown and back everyday would kill me! It sounds like we will be in class together. I am really excited and very very nervous!

sorry for the hijack..
My best friend is starting the July class too and we have to move have from st. louis mo. What area of town should we be looking at so she can take the rail to school and still be close to the possible clinical sites? Apts in Denver are pricey!
Thanks!
Hey Melissa, I am excited too, but am also nervous because I know it will be tough. But I am sure it will go by wuick and before we know it, we will be graduating! Sarah
Alibaba, Apartments all around the area can be pretty pricey. The areas you will want to look at to take light rail will be any areas south of Denver. They have not built light rail north yet. Aurora, Littleton, Englewood, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree or Parker are some of the big cities along the routes. Pretty much any area along Interstate 25 (Light Rail only goes to Lincoln Ave in Lone Tree) south or Highway 225 or Santa Fe Drive will provide you access to the light rail stations. As far as clinical sites, they can be all over Denver, north and south so pretty much any suburb of Denver would be good, but again Light Rail doesn't go north of Denver. You can check out the RTD Denver website for details on the routes. Good luck with the move, I know they are not very fun! Sarah
