I applied to the BSN nursing program at Langston University in Tulsa for Fall of 2015 and was wondering has anyone received their letter of acceptance yet? I've been told some don't get their letter until May?
I just got accepted for the fall '15 year. I have yet to officially begin, there is an orientation coming up soon that I'm looking forward to. I wish that I could get into contact with someone who has done the program at the main campus. I really want some valid advice about the program. I am a bit nervous, not knowing what to expect.
If you feel that it would give you the edge on others I encourage you to get your CNA. I thought about getting it just for the experience.
If you want, as the ball start rolling I can give you information here and there about the program. I wouldn't mind helping a fellow nursing, or pre-nursing student.
Congratulations!!! I plan on starting fall '16, still have a long way to go. I hate the fact that their admissions is only once a year. I wonder why it's like that. I'm also applying to OCU..
I totally understand where you're coming from when you say, you wish you could get some valid advice. It seems like Langston have their nursing students on a "do not tell" policy(laughs). It's so hard to find out anything about the nursing program, and the website is horrible!
