Anyone receive their Letter of Acceptance at Langston University for Fall '15?

Published

Hello all!

I applied to the BSN nursing program at Langston University in Tulsa for Fall of 2015 and was wondering has anyone received their letter of acceptance yet? I've been told some don't get their letter until May?

I've applied for the Fall 2015 semester. no letter as of yet.

Hey,

I applied as well and have not received a letter yet! I emailed one of the ladies and she told me the letters should be in the mail by the first of May. We should be hearing something very soon!!! :)

I got my letter but was told my application wasn't approved?! I'm going to call them on Monday to ask why. Did you get in?

Hello! Did you get your letter yet? I got mine but it had said my application wasn't approved?

Hey, I was told my application wasn't accepted either. I am calling on Monday as well! I'm sorry you did not get in. I am going to apply to other colleges in the future. 😊

I'm sorry:( I guess I should've applied at more colleges instead of just Langston. How depressing..anyway, I will let you know what they tell me!

Me too, I just missed the deadlines. Yes, please let me know and I will do the same!

Hello everyone.

I plan on applying for the nursing program in 2016 but at the Langston main campus. If ya'll don't mind me asking, what were ya'lls GPA? I have a 3.4 but I'm scared I still may not get in. Also did ya'll have to have a CNA license. I ask the academic adviser at Langston and she said it didn't matter.

Hi, Prettybritty. I am not sure if any of the others answered your question. But I got accepted into the nursing program at the main campus and I had a 3.1. Also, from my understanding if you go to the Langston campus you do not need the CNA, but the Tulsa campus requires one. I don't understand quite why, but I was freaking out about whether to get one or not. On my requirements it does not list CNA license.

Thanks for responding. That makes me feel better, because I think my GPA may drop after this semester. I'm freaking out about the CNA license too, because I feel like if I take it, it may give me an edge. Are you liking the program so far?

I just got accepted for the fall '15 year. I have yet to officially begin, there is an orientation coming up soon that I'm looking forward to. I wish that I could get into contact with someone who has done the program at the main campus. I really want some valid advice about the program. I am a bit nervous, not knowing what to expect.

If you feel that it would give you the edge on others I encourage you to get your CNA. I thought about getting it just for the experience.

If you want, as the ball start rolling I can give you information here and there about the program. I wouldn't mind helping a fellow nursing, or pre-nursing student.
