I too am in your position. The University of South Alabama (USA) has an online program with Family Psych. It's a pretty good school, I did my undergrad nursing their. I am NC and NC has strict guidelines governed by the UNC Board of Governors, luckily, USA made the cut, so I do plan on attending within the next year.

Thank you for that!
I went through Rush University but it is now a DNP program. I started while living in Bangladesh and Thailand. Did some clinical in Okinawa and came to Texas to finish up.
Zenman, do you practice as a PMHNP now? If so, did you feel like your program prepared you (as well as any of them can prepare us for actual practice, that is!).

Wondering if anyone did an online psych mental health NP post-master's certificate and if so, do you think online was the way go to? I am an adult-gero primary care NP thinking about doing a post-master's PMHNP (wish I had thought of this before it became a lifespan specialty, but oh well!). Doing the courses online has an attraction, since I have an active clinical practice as an AGPCNP. If you wouldn't mind telling me which program you attended, that would be lovely and very useful. Thanks!
