I was just wondering if anyone was a current Lutheran student or is on their waiting list!

i am currently a student

Hi! I am starting there this fall! What year are you? Can you tell me what you like and do not like about the program? And anything else you wouldn't mind sharing would be greatly appreciated. I am very nervous about starting.... Just wanted to get some first hand knowledge and advice! Thanks!

I am looking into their LPN bridge program now. Is there currently a waiting list? Anything I should know about the school. It seems nice from the information that I have recieved.

I started last august. The program is pretty good. I am finishing my med-surge rotation and it gets easier. I thought that Fundamentals was the hardest class because there was alot of random information thrown at you. You'll start clinicals around the end of september at a nursing home and it's really easy. The teachers are all really nice and willing to work with you if you have questions. There's not alot I don't like about the program so far. It does get hectic and frustrating at times but it's worth it in the end. You'll have class almost everyday of the week and clinical times are from 7:00 am to 3:30 but some of the instructors let you out early. If you have any specific questions or you have questions once you start in the program let me know.

i'm not sure if there is a wait list for the LPN bridge program. You can call there and talk to Sam the registrar and he will let you know if there's a wait.

Is it possible to hold a job while in the program? I did fine with one during my LPN program, but am cautious about an RN program? Although, I need to be focused on school I unfortunately have to help pay the bills as well!

you should be able to work with no problem. Many students in my class have a jobs and they're all doing just fine. Most work weekends and maybe 1 shift during the week.
