Anyone looking at University Of Miami?

Hi everyone! just checking to see if anyone else is considering the University of Miami's generic BSN program or has went throught the program:idea: I know it's very expensive, but I'm hopeful for scholarships and loan reimbursement programs. It's really attractive now that they are like one of the few schools in the US that have the simulator thing for practice.... anyone out there???

I heard the nursing program at UM lost their accreditation from the NLNAC.

Not all schools are accredited by NLNAC, Barry is accredited by SACS, I went there (SACS wbsite) and UM was there but it didn't specify if it was for nursing or the other universities. Call UM and ask them with which one they are accredited with. Their website should say with who they are as well.

I ahve been hearing of them losing thier accreditation but I would double check first.

University of Miami is not there anymore!! that is crazy!!!

I thought that school was so awesome, and almost went there because it was near my house!

I went to the community college in broward county.... an hour away from my house.

so what will the students do now? the ones that are there? can they still take boards even if they are not accredited by the nlnac??

they are still accredited if you go to the nlnac website. it was just on probation right?
