Anyone know if there will be an orientation for NYU transfers?!

Hi There:

I just found out that I have been accepted to NYU as a spring transfer, and I am just wondering if anybody knows whether or not they will be doing an orientation for new students before classes begin on January 20th. I need to do my work schedule soon, so this is somewhat vital...The university is closed until the 5th, & I can't seem to find any info online. Many Thanks!:nuke:

I finally found the answer to my own question on the NYU site- not sure how I missed it in the first place. In case anyone else in wondering the orientation will be on Monday, Jan 12th.

Hi Rovey-I know you posted this a long time ago, but I have been searching this site trying to find anyone who was trying to get into NYU's Spring program as a transfer student. I really, really want to apply and get into the program, I am just curious how difficult it is and if you could share with me any information you want about your application and the whole process I would be greatly appreciative!

Specifically, your prior academics-I am trying to figure out if it is even worth my applying for this if they only accept people with very good previous GPAs.

Congrats-I am sure you are in your second year by now!
