Anyone Know Of Any Lpn Programs On The Southshore???

Published

My friend just found out that she cant start school as she planned this fall. She wanted to become an RN. I dont know what happened but she said that her paperwork got messed up- whatever happened- I told her I was entering an LPN program in September and it is 10 months. I plan on continuing onto my RN once I graduate, probably part time, Im not sure yet. But anyways, I started my whole admissions, TEAS testing in late December 0f 07. I tried telling her that at my school, you cant just do a rolling admissions because she still really wants to start in the fall-shes the one that said maybe they have a rolling admisions or whatever. But she was interested in starting out as an LPN. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any technical programs or community programs that are near Quincy or Weymouth.I am going to a school in Easton....she is willing to travel I assume. She has her heart set on going to school , but i mean its a week away so I doubt it. But if anyone could let me know if they know of any schools that have an LPN program that is less than a year, maybe admissions in January, but even if they dont, any info would really help me to help her! Thanks so much!

She should check out mass.gov and do a quick search. Blue hill reg. tech., Bristol Plymouth reg. tech but there are other. She should start looking now. If she wants to start next Sept.

Quincy College has a nine month long program.

upper cape tech. they have theyre main campus in bourne and a satellite campus in harwich. just go to www.uppercapetech.com and click the PN program link. its a good program. but there are 600 to 800 applicants for 60 slots. so test and interview well.
