has anyone in jacksonville luck getting on as a new grad?

Published

I've recently gotten my license as a RN and I would be lying if I say I'm not worried I may not get a job even in home health? so how is everyone else coming along who just got licensed or graduated?

Im extremely worried about not getting a job.:eek::eek::eek: I graduate next year and Ive been looking to get on as a CNA or unit sec and Ive probably applied to75 jobs and only got 1 interview. Have you applied anywhere yet? The market has to get better sooner or later

I've applied to a few places,a few of my classmates have gotten jobs thru homecare and one at a hospital and nursing at LTC. I have a potential job (maybe) with homehealth, but there keeps being a delay

I know Shands is starting their new nurse Fellowship soon again and Memorial is notorious for hiring new grads. Integrity Home Health hired me as a new grad, but I got a job in a hospital.

one of my classmates was just telling me about shands fellowship program but I don't know when they will be accepting applications, and I knew memorial hired new grads but,I thought they only did 2 or 3 times a year,do you know when shads will start their nurse fellowship program?

The Shands New Nurse position is posted now. I just applied. The posting says they are only interviewing the first 50 people that apply. Hopefully I get a call. FYI

Its nice to kow that new grads are still being hired:) even if its only a few
