Hi all, just wondering if anyone has received a letter to interview at Wolford yet. It's been two weeks since their cut off date for applications (Fall '06)and I haven't heard anything.
If anyone at Wolford visits this site and you have the inside scoop, there's one RN that would like to know when to expect a letter. Thanks!

Decisions on who will be interviewed are being made as we speak. In theory, they should have a list ready by last Friday, 4/14, per Gilbert Chang, dir. of admissions.
Give it a week or so.
Businessman,
Thanks for the info! How did you find out? Did you ask Gilbert Chang directly because I was tempted to call the school...
Did you apply or are you connected to the school?
Good luck to you if you applied. I'll keep my hat on and wait.
I called Gilbert and asked him.
I'm interested b/c I'm one of the applicants ...
The cost of real estate in Naples is really high, though ...
Good luck to you, too !
I got an invitation to interview! Whew. How about you Businessman? I got mine yesterday. Their web site describes their interview style and questions, which I think is very boss of them. I will do my best. Third-time's-a-charm and all that.
Yes, I heard that it's really expensive to live in Naples but Fort Meyer is a little more reasonable.
I wish you the best of luck.
I haven't heard from them yet. Maybe it takes the letter longer to reach me, as I live in PA
At least I have two other interviews scheduled and two other schools that have to make up their minds still.

So where are these other schools? Did you apply to any Penn. schools? What draws you to Florida? I want to go there because the program style interests me greatly. I may be wrong but I like the idea of a school that just does anesthesia. I also like the didactics up front. I feel like if I have a good theoretical base, I'll do better in the clinical portion (just my own style of learning).
My husband wants me to go there for the proximity to great fishing and golf...
Good luck with your other interviews. Any idea what those interviews will be like?
I wish you good luck with your interview.
I got a letter today ... :monkeydance:
I chose to go on May 17. When do you go ?
Do you have any idea about the type of questions they're asking?
I tried to PM you, but you cannot receive messages. Maybe your inbox is full.

Hi again,
Great news! I interview on the 20th. (I disabled my PM so that's why it doesn't work).
The web site gives specifics as to the types of questions asked. It's in the school broshure (sp?). Basically it says there is a panel who ask motivation type questions, preparation, etc. No clinical.
Good luck on the 17th!

Hey Businessman, I have my interview on the 17th as well. What time is your interview???
Sherry,
The "session" is between 9:30 - 12:00. As the letter states, the actual interview lasts about 15 min. I'm assuming we'll take turns at interviews/orientation. We'll probably cross paths in the hallways ...
Good luck
