Hi!
Did anyone else interview for St Jo's new grad mother/ baby position? I know the posting was only up for 4 days but I'm sure hundreds of people applied. Anyone get to the phone interview or 1 on 1? They probably can't be interviewing more than 15 people in person right? I feel like my interview was a poor reflection of my personality and nursing skills! I feel like I could have done much better and was extremely nervous! It is my dream to work at St. Jo's and this was my last chance to apply to a new grad position because I have been out of school for 6 months now as well as already applied to their last new grad position and was able to get through the entire interview process, however, I was not offered the job ! I'm hoping this time I get better news! Good luck ladies!
Hi, I also have an upcoming interview at St Joseph for the MBU new grad position. It's going to be my first interview and I'm not sure what to expect. Could you please tell me a little more about your interview experience and what types of questions you were asked. Were you presented with any clinical questions or were they all behavioral? Thank you!! And congrats on your new L&D job!
Thank you!
The interview consists of you, the manager, and a person from HR. Both ask questions.
1. work history
2. what do you know about st joseph? go into the deep history and st joes values (dignity, excellence, service, ect) why mother baby? really basic questions.
3. a few clinical questions ( which patient would you see first) ( what would you do if you heard an IV alarm go off)
congrats on the interview! I'm actually working at a hospital with one of the new grads who interviewed with me for the st jo position :) The manager is intimidating so do your best to keep a game face on. She wants nurses who practice evidence based practiced and are members of professional groups ( think AWONN)
You have to pay for parking also it is $5!
Good luck!!! It's a privilege to interview at such a great hospital!!
