Anyone interested in starting a National Black Nurses Association Athens, GA Chapter

Hello, I just recently moved to the Monroe, GA-Athens, GA area and am interested in startng a National Black Nurses Association chapter for that area. Are there any students or nurses that would be interested in starting a chapter along with me?

Not sure if you guys are still intrested by there is already one started in Atlanta. We meet every 3rd tuesday of the month at Morehouse School of medicine.

Hi I need some advice on moving, applying for endorsment and seeking employment in GA, preferably around Atlanta. I'm a young african American female with 1 year med surge experience and looking for other black nurses for advice. I currently live in Louisiana. I'm wondering if it's a beneficial move. Thanks!

@ltwarren just make sure u get endorsed hrr I'm ga before u move...they are so difficult to get int o..I just won my battle of them letting me take s refresher course cause o didn't have enough hours. ..

Our first meeting is tomorrow sept 17 @ 5:30pm @morehouse..we meet every 3rd tuesday plus we have a 35th Anniversary dinner coming up on Oct 25th let me know if anyone wants to come

Do you have to live in that area to be a member? Is this with the national black nurses association?
