Anyone heard of J and J Healthcare Institute?

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I was looking for 2nd degree BSN programs that do the hybrid classes where some are online and some are in class and found this school. Read the reviews and realized real fast they’re a scam. The 5 star reviews seem sketchy and when I kept reading and got to the 1 star reviews I discovered that they offer people gift cards for good reviews. I got bored and kept digging. Found the facebook page and they have “CNA to LPN program” that they claim takes 5 months for CNAs. I know it’s a scam, but like the amount of people who fall for these things confuses me so much. They blocked me from the page after I called them out on it and asked them what the curriculum was and what text books they use if it’s not a scam. But I was just curious if anyone had heard of this place and I’m even more curious how places like that manage to get accredited and not get sued for false advertising or something. Like that can’t be legal to advertise for programs that don’t exist, can it? IDK why it irks me so much.

Well, just like many people there doing Covid that were in nursing school. You use a combination of your past clinicals, and your virtual clinicals, which is legal in the state of Florida, and many other states I think you just have not done your research it is still legal in many states, I hope this has help you and I wish you well on your journey. God bless.

that they advise you to still stay in the program even after you graduate

Stay in the program even after you graduate???

it's always good to have refreshers to make sure that you do well on your NCLEX

Why would you need a 'refresher' if you just graduated fulfilling the school's graduation  requirements?

It is not a traditional LPN program, but it is a legitimate legal LPN program. I did not believe it myself, but I decided to put my big toe in the water and test it. It is a private school based in Florida Florida has different rules, so does California sometimes when people see schools like this? They automatically think fake but I was proven wrong and I was happy that I was in for my needs  the school fit my knees.... Maybe it will fit your needs maybe it will not but you could always sign up for a traditional LPN program. If you do not feel comfortable, but it worked for me. God bless you and good night. Enjoy your Saturday.

Okay now it makes sense. Brand new account and you chose this post from months ago as the first post to comment on and turns out you supposedly go there. So, what text books do they use? What's the curriculum like? Like how many classes a term do you take?  How long is each term? How is it nobody can tell me any of that?

She's lying and probably works for the school. If you go online and find the Google reviews for the school people admit that the school offers money as an incentive to leave good reviews.

It is sounds like you have not been on the website in a long time and the people you spoke to probably going to work there anymore. Maybe fired long time ago. You just seem to be out of date I just wish you well because you would know all the information is on the website They have hand books and everything the handbook made for the public to read just in case you have any questions. I hope you have a wonderful Summer.

Online programs still HAVE to have a certain number of in person clinical hours. Even during COVID. They also have to register the programs curriculum with the state board. Do you have a copy of the curriculum? Schools have to give you one. What brand text books are used for the classes? What classes do you take in those 5 months? Because even without clinicals and LPN program requires a lot of class room instruction which equals more than 5 months. Why doesn't Floridian board of nursing have record of the program and why isn't it listed anywhere except the fb page?

But if you need help trying to find another school that will fit your needs. I'll be happy to help you find a LPN school that will fit your needs. Just let me know.

Lmao I literally just went to the website. There is no mention of a 5 month lpn program. I also talked to someone with the BON. It's interesting that you can't answer a single question.

You keep saying that we did not have clinicals. We still had to do clinicals a lot of them. Sir ma'am I hope you go to the website and download the handbook. Good night.

I was just on the website and I saw nothing about a CNA to LPN program. Please guide me to that information

You literally cannot even tell me what brand text books they use ? or what courses are "taught" in those 5 months. Here's an easier one. How many days a week are classes and how long is each term? How many classes do you take each term?

Go ahead and sign up for the 12 month program in which they have sir or ma'am because I can tell you really do want to go to the school but you sound angry at the results and what you got just by the phone call

She's either one of the students being paid by them or someone who works for them and is wanting to scam people

So you can't even tell me how many weeks each term is, how many classes per term, or any info at all. You're telling me that my info is out of date yet the website mentions no CNA to lpn course anywhere. Can you post a link to it?
