Good luck to you folks interviewing at Samford today. I am sure I will run into some of you on the circuit in the next few months.

Specializes in Vascular/trauma/OB/peds anesthesia.

icunurse- were you accepted to Samford?

no.....neither

icunurse..I'm so sorry to hear that.

denied here also. What a let down.

Denied, rejected, kicked to the curb. Oh well, maybe next year. My brother works with someone who got in on her third try, so let's not get too discouraged.

Specializes in trauma/ surgical icu.

DENIED!!! Oh well, another year to gain experience and to save money.. Best of luck to all that got in!! Hope everything goes well for all!!!!

This was my 2nd try. Hopefully third will do it.

Specializes in ICU/CCU/MICU/SICU/CTICU.

Just wanted to say congrats to all who got in, and to those who didnt....keep trying and dont give up. I work with a girl who got in, so I know how excited you all must be!

I am sorry to hear those who did not get in to school for this year. I want to say-- dont give up, I was one of the ones who got in on the third try. I also know of others who took up to 3 times to get in. If your dream is to become a CRNA then never give up. There is always the next year.

I'm in...Tuscaloosa component. I heard there were only 4 seats given for Tusc. Congrats to all who are in. See you in class.

Yes, I am in!!!! Very excited about whats ahead!

Denied here also. I actually thought I had a chance! Is it me or are these programs way more competitive than a couple of years ago? I am trying not to be bitter but I hate the thought of keeping my life on hold for another year.

For those that got in, what do you think made you stand out in a pool of >100 applicants? I was asked in one part of my interview to write something that would make me memorable to the interviewer. I felt like drawing a picture of my broken down house, or a cartoon of myself with bodily fluid all over my scrubs after a day at work. Instead I wrote something probably not so memorable. Should've went with my first instinct. Anyone else want to share experiences of the interview?
