Good luck to you folks interviewing at Samford today. I am sure I will run into some of you on the circuit in the next few months.
My interview was very pleasant as well. Very professional in how it was conducted. It is anybody's guess at this point. From what they said, it depends on the applicant pool vs. the number of slots....and of course, what they are looking for. I was told by all of the interviewers that there was much more to it than just numbers/scores.
They weigh everything as a whole package, particularly information obtained during the interviews. It could go either way. I will accept whatever is decided and like you, will work towards personal improvements if not accepted this year. I plan to do it all again next year, if this year doesn't work out. It is worth it. Best of luck and let us know.
I am in. Got the letter today...
Now, how do I pay for this!! :-)
Either way...I get off at seven and it is celebration time hardcore for three hours...then a deep coma-like sleep.
Congrats to the others that got a letter today. I am in the montgomery group, let me know if I will be spending some time with you.

My interview went well. Everyone was nice. The director told me that they should get letters out by the latter part of next week. One of the instructors told me that most of their alternates got a slot last year. So if I get an alternate letter I will be excited (not as excited as I will be to get an acceptance letter). If I get denied, I know now how to make myself a better applicant next year and will know what to expect as far as the interview goes.
