Anyone going to/went to Carrington college?

Published

Hi everyone!

I am about to start Lvn to Rn program in Carrington college in Boise. I was wondering if there is anyone who's been through that program and can tell me about your experience, thoughts, opinions regarding it? I would appreciate any input! Thanks in advance!

Have you seen their commercials? Yikes.... I would make sure to check that they are accredited. If so, all the best of luck to you :)

Their programs are accredited and some are only approved by Idaho board but graduates are allowed to sit for nclex after completion. That's all that matters. Their clinicals are in major hospitals, and I checked, hospitals here do hire their graduates. After nclex and getting associates degree and Rn license from them, I will continue in one of their contracted universities for Bsn. So I thought it all out, no worries. I just wanted to see if someone did that program before and could share an experience

Went through the VN program in Sacramento. It's quick and you're done but the experience was...horrible. I hear better things about the bridge but the VN experience made me scared to go back.
