Anyone going to Tina's or Sherri's workshop in Jan?

Published

Just wondering if anyone is planning on going to either Tina's or Sherri's CPNE workshop in Jan. The cost, at least for me with airfare and hotel, is going to be about the same. I'm starting to get a bit nervous about the CPNE.

I know what you mean - airfare for me to ATL is $183 roundtrip! I am thinking about going to the one in January, I need to double check and see if that is my weekend off work before I book it though.

Hey Nervous1, I've read a few of your posts on other threads and it seems that we are pretty much on the same track. I'm testing LS2 11-16 and have already started LS3 (my final nursing class before FCCA & CPNE). I still have A&P and Micro to do but I'll try to do those while I'm waiting for my CPNE date. Good luck with your next class, we're almost there...

I think I am going to Sheri Taylors in January-if I can get off work, I put in my PTO request today so we will see!!

Yep - we are about in the same place. I am testing for Chronicity later this month and when I pass it - I will have LS2, LS3 left to go. I paid for both of those today and tomorrow when they show up on the PVue website I'm going to register for them 2 weeks apart in December. So I should have all of my exams done before Christmas, a great gift to myself since I didn't start taking the exams until June this year.

Micro was my first EC exam, I took it in February when I was still undecided on what I was going to do. I passed with a B and minimal study. I used Vangonotes from audible dot com and listened to it a few days and read over the College Network Guide as well as Micro Demystified. Very doable exam.

For A & P, I did actual classes last fall online from Edukan. I wish Straighterline was around back then, would have been much easier. But I think the EC A&P exam is a great option and if you have all of the nursing stuff behind you, it should be an easy pass.

Good luck, keep me posted on your progress. You never know, we may be doing our CPNE around the same time. I'm hoping to take mine in February (late) in one of the NY sites (Albany or Syracuse, maybe Utica).

Hi, Nervous1;

Which Vangonote did you use for Micro?

Good luck to you!

Hey Nervous1, where did you take micro from? Was it Excelsior or some place else? Thanks so much.

Ok thanks. I'm planning to take it before March.

I think I might take Sherri's workshop in January. I'm waiting for my CPNE date, which I hope will be in the middle of March.

I think I may do an online workshop with Sheri. All these cost are seriously adding up. I've heard good things about her online workshop.
