Anyone going to CACC?

Hi! Just wondering is anyone going to CACC? I am taking my pre reqs there now hoping to get into the nursing program this fall. I took my ENG 101 two years ago and quit without withdrawing and I am taking that over and goin to ask for course forgiveness and 3 more pre reqs will they see the grades from this semester in enough time to decide that I can get into the nursing program for this fall? I am trying to get into the LPN program. If anyone has any advice for me please feel free. Thanks, Niki

I know y'all are probably sweating this letter pretty bad. I did last summer. But, just relax and enjoy your summer. At this point, you have done all that you can do. The rest is up to fate and the faculty. Good luck to y'all. Oh and be prepared to make an appointment with your physician. Before you start the program, you need a physical along with a few other things.

Thanks, you're completely right, and I'm definitely enjoying my summer!!! Yeah, not looking forward to getting caught up on my shots and whatnot but I'll put on my big girl panties and push thru it. LOL

CACC???

I have applied to Jeff State as my first choice, however CACC is my plan B!! Does anyone know how many times a year they admit? How many days a week do you go to class/Clinical once in the program? I assume they only have a day program

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I called the lady at CACC today to ask when would we hear and she said they have already mailed them out and we should hear something by Saturday. So keep a watch out!

OMG now I'm a REAL nervous wreck but thank you so much for the info! Dang I'll be gone Fri-Sun but my mom will be here at my house so if it comes I'll tell her to tear it open and call me at the beach! LOL!

Hey 2bnurse are you talking about RN letters or LPN letters? I know you were interested in the LPN so I was wondering if it's the RN letters too?

I am not really sure...we just called and asked..she didn't look up my name or anything she said we sent out the letters yesterday and you should have something by Sautrday. I don't know if July 4th will effect that or not.

Wahoo.. I'm In!!! Got my letter today for the RN program. Now I have to let Jeff State know that I won't be attending there. I am so happy!!! I hope all my buddies get in as well.

YAY!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you! I know you are so excited!!!!! My mail doesn't run until around 2-3...so I am waiting. It is not very likely that I will get accepted, but we will see. I will go get my CNA and work until January when they offer the Spring LPN program. Congrats, I hope you do very well!!!!

Hey girls, I got accepted into the RN program at CACC as well! YEY!!!

(Hey Randi it's Stephanie here, didn't know if you realized that or not, LOL, looks like Dana got in as well, I hope all my other pals did, too!)
