Anyone goes to Concordia University Irvine?

U.S.A. California

Hi everyone, I've been trying to find a straight BSN program (no RN or LVN certification) and a lot of people are actually recommending Concordia University. I'm trying to transfer there from a community college. I have completed all the requirements such as the bios: anatomy, physio, and micro, etc. I've been in the waiting list for some time now and planning to transfer. Is there anyone who can give me an info about Concordia Univ such as the years to complete the straight BSN program, the average tuition fees, if they accept transfer credits, experiences there? I was looking at west coast univ and realized the tuition fee is just too much. Any info about Concordia would really help since I'm trying to decide which private school I want go to. Thanks a bunch!

I havent gone to any interviews yet. I tried emailing the lady back on here who deals with that but I got no response.

Hi hhalim!

My question for you is can a non-Christian student apply for the University accelerated BSN? Do you guys only accept Christian students? Are students asked about what their religion is in the interview?

Yes, CUI welcome ABSN prospective students to apply regardless of their background.

No, religion has no bearing in admission. You are, however, required to take 6 units Theology classes upon confirmed acceptance into the ABSN.

No, religion is not part of interview questions.

I applied to the accelerated nursing program and have not been invited for an interview yet. Have interviews already been conducted, and if not, when will they be? Thanks!

Hhalim:

I sent an email to gradadmissions but haven't gotten a response yet so I thought I'll try posting here. I've taken multiple science classes that should count towards the prerequisite courses. Can I choose from my courses which one will be used to calculate my prerequisite GPA?

I know this post is from many years ago, but can anyone tell me about the LVN to RN Concordia program? I have a bachelor's in another field, I am an LVN and don't want to spend much time in school. Anyone know the cost?

I would also like to know :)
