Anyone go to Normandale???

Published

Hello there.... This is my first post! I'm so excited that I found this site! I am 32 yrs old and have 3 kids... I have a 4 year degree from Mankato and now I think I've finally figured out what I really want to do with my life... LOL... I'm starting school this fall at Normandale Community College. I am taking 1 class a semester for 4 semesters until I have my pre-reqs completed and I can apply for the RN program...I want to work Labor and Delivery. It has always been a passion of mine and a dream of mine... I honestly don't know why I didn't do it the first time around...

I am registered for Anatomy this fall and plan on taking Chem in the Spring of 07. I have 2 questions.... first of all, should I take Chem in the Spring or would Physiology be a better course to follow Anatomy? I was told Chem would help me out (it is a pre-req for Phys) but I'm worried that I'll need Anatomy fresh in my head also.... any suggestions???

Also, does anyone have any recommendations about certain professors that are easier/harder/better/etc??? I think with the 3 kids, I'm going to need all the help I can get! TIA

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

I went to Normandale back in 88 and I had 2 little kids. I think things went well. Nursing school is demanding no matter where you go

it is nice to take Physio right after but you won't forget Anatomy. and Chem does help. I had to take both 1020 and 1050. I didn't have it in HS and I was returning after 7 years out.
