I have received several emails about student loan refund due to fraud committed by schools. Something about a " A Defense To Repayment Claim Submission".. anyone else get these or am I looking at a scam?
Thanks

Sounds like a scam. Check the Department of Education site for accurate information. If this is a real thing, they will have a bulletin or other information.

Pretty sure it is a scam.

I too would be suspicious about this email.
In certain circumstances a student can be released from their obligation to repay direct federal loans if they can prove fraud on the school's part. The government will then attempt to get the school to repay the student's loan. See this article in US News.
